HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

For the month of January, if you book any session you will recieve a second one for free. (the free session is good until the 12/31/10. ***the free session excludes weddings) ALSO, ALL CHILDREN'S SESSIONS ARE FREE UNTIL JANUARY 31! (children 10 and under qualify.)

February- $15.00 sessions for couples, and half off for any engagement sessions. (I will honor the half off engagement sessions special even if your session is not in the month of Feb. as long as the session is booked during Feb.)

As for the rest of the months, I will post their specials at a later date. March and April will be posted on February 28th! I will have great specials all throughout the year, so be sure to visit my site often to see if any of them would be good for you or someone you know!

It's Christmas Time!!!

Today is December 1st, 24 days until Christmas! This has really been a fast year. I am excited to celebrate the birth of Christ this season, and I am so thankful for all that God does for me. This time last year is when I first started publically doing photography. I have learned quite a bit over the year, and I'm sure that I will continue to, but I am ready to take all that I've learned and really build up MJLphotography. I am very optimistic about 2010, and I am ecstatic to try some new things.

I would also like to let everyone know about my current speacial. Christmas Sessions are only $20.00!! They will last up to 2 hours and you will have 10-20 pictures. Oh, and here is the best part, THE FIRST PERSON TO BOOK THEIR CHRISTMAS SESSION WITH ME WILL NOT PAY THE $20.00 FEE! I will waive the fee. And, in the spirit of the season, THE NEXT 5 PEOPLE TO BOOK THEIR CHRISTMAS SESSION WITH ME WILL ONLY PAY 50% OF THE $20.00 FEE! So the cost would only be $10.00.

So, hurry, hurry, hurry, and book your Christmas Session and you could be one of the lucky people who gets a $10.00 session....and if you're really lucky it might even be FREE!

Ryan Scarborough

Here is Ryan. I did a session with Ryan over the summer, and I was excited to get to do another session with him! I think that these turned out well, and I hope Ryan likes them! This first one is my favorite. That seems to be the trend with all my posts. Ha.

This is Molly, my cousin. I am glad that we finally got the chance to do a session, and I am very happy with how these pictures turned out! I was excited to try out some of my props, and again, I am happy with the result of those, too. I had so many favorites, but I think the first one would be my absolute favorite one. I would like to thank Molly for waiting so patiently on her pictures, and I hope that she is happy with them!

Savannah Ward

A long time ago I did a session with Savannah. I got about 20 shots, and then my camera died. I was new to photography then and the pictures didn't turn out that great, but now we finally got to do another session and this time they are a lot better! I am very happy with how these pictures turned out. I hope you like them Savannah.

Mr. and Mrs. Leach's Wedding

This was my first time photographing a wedding. Like I said in the previous post, this was my friend Kenzie's account, but she invited me to come along and help. Again, I would like to thank her. Now, almost a week later, after several late nights and long days I am excited to finally get to post the pictures! The whole thing has been a great experience. The wedding was great, and everyone was very nice and easy to work with. I would like to wish Travis and Kayla the best of luck, and I hope that they are pleased with the pictures!
